Soeurs’ was born as a way to heal. Its director, Jessica Laurent wrote the story to make sense of the growing distance between her and her older sibling after they left home. What began as a personal reflection on loss and sibling bonds evolved into a broader exploration of grief, self-discovery, and the emotional challenge of letting go of the ones we love most.
