It’s summer—one of those summers we all remember fondly. The kind that stays with you forever. Margarita, the little flower of the family, plays happily on the porch, sitting beside her grandmother. Though surrounded by many interesting objects, Margarita is drawn to her grandmother’s voice and the fantastical stories she always shares.
DID YOU KNOW THAT...
The short film, originally inspired by Rubén Darío’s poem, was conceived with a voice-over narration by Margarita, performed by Valencian actress Xesca Guillén. The dubbing session turned out to be deeply emotional, as Guillén repeatedly broke down in tears, causing the recording to pause multiple times. When the team asked her why she was so moved, the actress revealed that, as a child, her grandmother used to read her that very poem every night.
